Everything you want to know before you start
Strava/GPX, customization, museum quality, free shipping, full refund.
Do I need Strava, or is a GPX file enough?
Either works. Connect Strava and pick from your activities, or upload a GPX file directly. We only use the activity you choose to import.

Can I give this as a gift?
Yes. Bring the GPX of the activity that mattered, design the poster in the editor, ship it framed to whoever you want. Short on time, the Digital Download is in your inbox the moment you pay — print at home, or take the file to a frame shop near them.
What can I customize on the poster?
Pretty much everything that makes your ride or run yours. Pick a map look, adjust the route line's color and weight, write a title and subtitle, and decide which numbers stay on the poster — distance, time, elevation gain, pace, speed. Before you order you can shift the text band until the layout feels right. Works for running, cycling, hiking, skiing and walking, plus a generic option if your sport isn't in the list.
Is the poster just my route?
No — we also draw the most prominent place along your route. The Brandenburg Gate after your Berlin Marathon, for example. If the first attempt isn't right, ask for another. If none fits, describe the place that matters more — the Camino de Santiago shell, the summit cairn on your favorite climb — and we'll draw that one instead.
What do I get with the Digital Download?
A print-ready PNG in high resolution — suitable for A2, A3 and larger. You get the link on the confirmation page and by email. It stays active for 90 days. Print at home, or take the file to any provider you trust.
What paper and frame do you use?
Matte fine-art paper of archival grade — acid-free, ≈250 gsm, FSC-certified, uncoated, natural white. The same stock used for gallery print runs. Frame: black pine wood, profile 20–25 mm, shatter-resistant plexiglass, hanging kit included.
Where do you ship and how long does it take?
Shipping is always free, with no minimum order. We currently ship to Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, France, Ireland, Poland, the United Kingdom and the United States. Most orders arrive within about a week; the United Kingdom and the United States can take a little longer while parcels clear customs. The exact estimated delivery date is shown at checkout.
Can I request a refund?
Every poster is made individually for you. If something is off — damaged in transit, the print didn't land well, or simply not what you pictured — email info@mementomap.com with your order number and a photo. We'll sort it out: usually with a free reprint, sometimes with a refund. Digital downloads aren't refundable, but write us anyway if something looks wrong — we'll help.
What happens to my data?
When you sign in with Strava we use the standard OAuth flow and request read access to your activities so you can pick the one you want. We only use the activity you choose to import. We never see your password and never write to Strava. You can disconnect any time from your Strava settings. For print orders we share only the shipping address with our print partner. We don't sell data.
